Final blockchain launches Shannon Devnet: how it works

Final blockchain presented Shannon, the first devnet of the new “adaptive” Layer 1. The project promises two integrated chains, specialized infrastructure and a native exchange called Final Trade. The launch deserves attention because it introduces a newborn keyword, but the operational state is preliminary: public access is indicated as future and the explorer showed zero blocks, transactions and validators at the time of verification.

What is Final blockchain

Final presents itself as a Layer 1 network capable of adapting resources and infrastructure to applications. The thesis is to bring the flexibility of the cloud closer to blockchains, avoiding each service having to build execution, liquidity and economic components from scratch. Final Trade and the two-chain structure

Final Trade is presented as a native DEX for spot and derivatives markets, with leverage up to 50x. The project aims for centralized exchange-like performance and low latency. These are statements from the team: without blocks, volume, real liquidity and execution data it is not possible to measure slippage, peak resistance or liquidation behavior.

A specialized structure can reduce competition for resources between different applications. However, it can increase security complexity: consensus, internal bridges, sequencing, oracles and risk engine must work together. Evaluating Final will require consensus specifications, validator requirements, verifiable code, and a clear incident management model.

Does the FINAL token already exist?

The explorer uses FINAL as the expected unit for stake, supply and commissions, but displays null values. This is not the same as a token available on the market. The same or similar names on DEX and tracking sites may belong to unrelated projects. Shannon offers the first observable point, but the still empty explorer imposes a simple conclusion: the idea is public, the performance is not.
